Grounghog's Day

We had a fun little holiday snack to celebrate today's holiday. (Although we like that it's our cousin's birthday more.)

 Then we spent much of the lovely afternoon outside playing while enjoying the beautiful weather!

Then we moved on from football to baseball. Eliza was a natural.

Seeing her with the bat reminded me of this picture of me when I was littler. Lots of good times playing baseball in the backyard as a kid. (Okay, the real reason it reminded me of this picture is because Eliza's pants are so much like Mike's. Just kidding!)

Mother Nature has blessed us with many warm days to enjoy this winter. We really need more moisture, but it has been so great to enjoy so much time outside playing together in the warmth.
