Fashion Sense

Andrew is such an independent little boy. He likes to help pick out his clothes everyday. Most of the time he picks out everything & insists on certain things. On Sunday, he picked the blue shirt. Then he saw Rick putting on his tie & Andrew rushed to find a tie & insisted on putting it on & wearing it to church. Then Monday morning, he went to the dirty clothes basket & got his shirt back out, found his tie, & put it all on again. Boy is he handsome.

What happened to the 50 degrees the weathermen said it would be? I'm feeling really bad about the jacket Lexie wore to school.

Joseph's New Backpack

Joseph has been asking for his very own new blue backpack for a very long time. Today was the day! We headed out & he picked out his backpack & was so excited. He talked about it all day long! I'm glad he was so happy about it.

Primary Program

We are very happy Lexie & Joseph did such a great job in the Primary Program! They worked very hard on memorizing their parts & did a great job delivering them. (We're really glad Lexie was able to give her part. She was punched hard in the nose just a few minutes before her turn & Rick had to take her out while she finished crying.) It was also funny watching Joseph plug his ears while the cute little boy next to him screamed sang the songs. It's always enjoyable to watch these programs & even more so when you don't have to be in charge of it.

It's Autumntime

I have been getting excited for Fall, so when I saw this craft idea & I decided to do it with the kids. My hands got tired of punching out the holes, but it was well worth the excitement the kids had making their trees.

Happy Labor Day

We headed down to Castlewood Canyon to celebrate the day off from our labors.

The kids were troopers. We hiked, climbed, walked for 3.5 hours. But we think they really enjoyed it. After hiking we stopped in at Chic-fil-a for some free sandwiches & a pic.

We had way too much fun today!
