GlowStick Time

It's our last night in our house. We played with glow sticks tonight as a farewell celebration. It was a lot of fun. Eliza looks like a minion, well, a little.

Sweet Joseph

Joseph asked me if the commandments apply to flies. He's very concerned for my soul after yesterday's and today's carnage.
On a side note, it's AMAZING how big our house feels EMPTY and the echo-the kids are totally digging that!

Packing Out

We are almost all packed out. It's crazy. And I am so sad. We're going to miss it here. But we're also so excited about our adventure.
Lucy loves sitting in the doorway getting in the way of our packers. It's a good thing they like us and her. :)

We had fun over at the Tunink's house and Lexie and Cassidy made us lots of yummy treats.

New Mattress Fun

These girls love climbing all over this mattress and then sliding down. Joyful times.

 And I must say, it's so weird how bare my house is beginning to look.

Saying Bye to the Doerrs

The Doerrs have been our friends since Rick and I got married. We were in the same ward in College Park. Then we followed each other around Maryland and Colorado. I don't think they'll be following us to England. But it was fun to get the kids together one last time for a long while.
We'll miss them.

Andrew's Birthday Hat

Andrew's teacher gave him a hat to wear today at school to celebrate his birthday. It was really cute and he loved it.

Happy Birthday, Andrew!

Andrew is 6 years old! We love this spunky boy. He is a ball of energy, always has some awesome questions for us, loves his family so much, and all things ninja, Harry Potter, Lego, Star Wars, Pokémon, and he's learning to love to read.
We had the Barnum's over for a party for the kids. We love having them come over to celebrate.

Lucy also got a present.

Colorado Rapids Game

Joseph's friend, Logan and his family, gave us tickets to the Colorado Rapids Soccer game for tonight. It was so much fun!
It was so nice of them and we love watching soccer. One day we will hopefully be watching Logan play professional soccer. That will be awesome!

Lucy's First Birthday: The Party/Cake

We went very simple with Lucy's cake. We made it zebra looking inside. She was pretty excited about it. Although a bit hesitant to try it at first. She finally put her finger in it and then tried to feed it to Rick.
