Five and a Half

From the time Andrew was 5 and a month old, he started asking when he would turn 5 and a half. It was a really big deal to him. So, about once a week (or more) he'd ask. And we'd tell him, "Later, later, later...just wait, it's coming..." Well, today was the day!!
I saw this idea on pinterest and would not have done it except he was so excited for this day to come and it was Family Home Evening so we could have it as a treat.

He was over the moon excited to be 5 and a half! Hopefully he'll be content with that for awhile. There's plenty of time to grow up, it's good to just be young, too.
