Our Christmas Morning started when Joseph came into our room around 4am and asked if we could go open stockings. We told him to go sleep a little longer. We had our small Christmas miracle because the kids didn't come back in until 7am at which time we did go on down to open stockings. Eliza was still sleeping so she came down a bit later and was super excited.
Kids' favorite things they got in their stockings:
Lexie-calculator/magnifying glass
Joseph- everything
Andrew- everything
Eliza- books and tape measure and Team Umizoomi movie
Lucy- rattle
We got lots and lots of pictures of opening stockings. It was so much fun watching the kids open their stockings and all of the excitement over everything. Eliza was especially fun to watch this year. She is at such a GREAT age for Christmas with all of the amazement that she sees and finds in everything.
Eliza running in.
Lexie was so excited about her calculator she had to show everyone.
Too bad these fellas all got coal in their stockings.
Then we had some breakfast. Eliza would pull this little timeout chair all over for her to sit in. It was cute. It's too bad all the counters and tables were slightly too high for it. :)
Breakfast!
Being cute patiently waiting for presents.
Eliza enjoyed the marble run of Lakai's.
Rick's sisters gave him a rubber ducky nativity.
Rick's present from his parents.
Lexie's present.
Eliza's present.
Andrew's present.
We didn't get one of Joseph's. He got some light lego toy called LaserPegs.
Rick's brother, Ryan gave him this book.
All of the sister-in-laws got appointments for pedicures for a girls time out.
After presents the kids watched Brave with Merida.
Lexie helped Grandpa make stuffing for dinner.
Rick and I got quick adjustments from Jason and were excited to go into his office for more.
And Lucy got held lots by Kaeli.
Rick's sister, Stephanie's family had us for Christmas this year and they gave us something that was really neat and we're grateful for their efforts in doing it.
It was a fun Christmas Day and it was nice that all of Rick's siblings and families could be there.
