Happy Girls

I love it when the girls are so happy to just play and be together. It's cute how much they adore each other and how smiley they make each other.

Bunny

You may remember Lexie and her Bunny who would sing backup for her. I do. It was  no surprise that Eliza picked out a bunny to paint at Cassidy's party. Since we've gotten it back she carries it around all the time, tries to show it to people over the phone. I find it in the oddest of places-like how does it get in the front of the car-no idea, or in the refrigerator.
She is also so good at putting her bunny down for a nap. So, for all those who she's been trying to show her bunny to over the phone, here is bunny!
(She wanted me to take a picture of bunny napping. But I had to be verrrrrrry quiet!) (It's like we were hunting rabbits or something.)

She had a good nap.

New Sunglasses

Eliza picked out some sunglasses at the dollar spot today. I know, livin' large. She loves glasses and was so excited to see some her size.

She also loves to bang on things and "make some noise!" And that is what she was singing while playing her drums in her sweet sunglasses.

I like this girl, even if she looks so unimpressed with me. 

Seven Months Old

 Lucy is seven months old and we are still so smitten with this sweetheart!

She's getting very squirmy these days.

She's clapping lots.

And Joseph is learning to be like her. :)

Happy St. Patrick's Day

We started off with some green and shamrock pancakes (and of course with coconut).

And for dinner we made corned beef and cabbage for the first time ever. It turned out rather well and the kids all seemed to like it. Eliza loved it!

Then we spent the evening trying to figure out who turned the fan on...or rather why the boys were wanting to be come so dizzy. Silly boys!

Soccer Time

And Soccer Season is upon us. After Andrew figured out how to play last year, we wondered what would happen this season after the break. Well, he was able to pick up right where he left off last season. It's great that he really enjoys soccer! He even did a great pass to one of the other kids off of a side/corner kick and they kicked it in for a goal. He's figuring out how to help assist others now-it will take some more practice, but he's getting there.
I think he scored 4 goals today in the first half (& then I went over to Joseph's game-theirs were at the same time today).

Andrew's also picking up some speed which is good.

Although, that doesn't mean he's left all of his great goofiness out of the games. He has such a great personality.

Joseph played goalie all of his first half and did really well. But he also was doing well on the field the second half. He's a great hustler.

Lexie went to a Stake Activity Days activity this morning so she missed the game. But she brought home a fun crown that Lucy sort of liked...

 It was a great Saturday and I know we'll have many more soccer filled ones for the next few weeks.

Play Time

We had a very busy play day today. It started out warming up a lot lately so we've been outside a lot and bubbles are always a favorite.

I've started watching one of our friends, Caleb, and he is such a great helper with Lucy. She and Eliza just love Caleb.

Eliza and Lexie (okay all of the kids) are hooked on "Sophia the First." It's cute to hear them sing the whole theme song together.

And Lucy just loves to play with books all day long. That and be held. If she has those two things she's happy.

Today the boys brought home some art projects they'd been working on at school. Andrew and his amulets.

Joseph and his coral reef.

We also brought home 4 friends to play after school. Here's Lexie and Cassidy.

And we played outside for such the long time. It was a beautiful day and so fun to be out of hibernation.
Lexie and Cassidy had a race on the trikes.

Um, Cass won big time.

We're so glad Spring is here and we can spend more time outside!
