We had just put the kids in bed & I hear loud growling from Lexie's room. I ask her to be quiet, close eyes, & go to sleep. Her reply, "Mommy, I'm trying to scare my hiccups away!"
I read this a while back but when I saw it again as I was checking your blog - I had to tell you how cute I think it was. GRRR! It amazes me the big ideas that little minds come up with.
A: "Where is the table to the Thanksgiving toy?" E: "Over here by bookshelf." A: "You're lyin', E. It's not here." E: "I not a lion, I Liza! I not a lion, A!"
The kids just asked I was going as for Halloween M: "The Mama." A: "You're going as Obama? So cool! Are people going to vote for you?" Ummm...doubtful. I guess the fact that we voted today has got him in a great political mindset, however the sign in our yard says we support the other guy. :)
While learning about talents in Primary. D: "Who has a talent?" A: "Everyone. Well, except people in Germany. They don't even know what that word means."
A: "I want to be like Batman because he is a hero." M: "Oh, how do you know he's a hero? What makes him one?" A: "Because he has a cape." M: "Oh." A: "And don't forget he also has a mask." Then we talked about what makes a real hero.

My kids love getting the hiccups because grandma told them a spoon full of sugar is the only way to get rid of them. Anything for sugar, right?
oh my gosh - that is so cute. love it
Did it work? What a clever idea.

I've just been skimming your pictures. Your middle boy is so you. Cute cute kids.
She's a clever girl. I love how literal they take things. I hope those hiccups were terrified!
No, the growling didn't work, but Mommy's kiss worked. Who knew? She is sure funny though.
